Tuition and Enrollment Policies
Upon enrollment your intention is to remain enrolled for the entire semester. If for any reason you need to drop your enrollment you must notify the Konocti Dance Academy Director in writing 14 days prior to your next tuition due date. Only actively enrolled / registered students will be allowed to perform with KDA. Your 14 day written advance notification will ensure your release from further tuition and/or performance obligations.
We are not able to give refunds for missed classes / absences. In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled by the KDA Director, a make-up class will be scheduled in its place.
There are no grace periods granted for tuition payments. IMPORTANT: Students are only allowed to participate when their tuition is current. This is absolutely non-negotiable. Please ensure all tuition payments are received by KDA on time. If you forget when tuition is due, just look for the orange sign on the front of the building - it will be hanging during tuition week.
Tuition Payment Plans
The Konocti Dance Academy does not send invoices. It is your responsibility to remember when your tuition payments are due.
At the beginning of the semester there are usually two tuition payment plans available;
1) payment in full;
2) two payments - first half due upon registration, second half due the 1st of the next month.
At this time we do not charge a registration fee.
For your convenience we offer an automated payment system. If this option is selected, unless we are instructed in writing otherwise, each tuition payment will be charged to your credit card account when your next tuition payment is due. If you would like your credit card account to be billed automatically, please communicate this to KDA staff.
KDA accepts cash, credit card, and money order payments. You may also make secure payments on our website. It is especially important that you remember when your payments are due and submit payments in time to be received by your tuition due date. For those not on the automated payment system, there will be a staff member on site to collect your tuition on the tuition due dates.
We do not accept checks at this time.
Any charges made to Konocti Dance Academy or Annette Lee by her banking institution as a result of the unwarranted dispute of a credit card or any other financial transaction will be passed on to the applicable customer for payment.
